In a paper contributed by us to the Indian Medical Gazette in 1922 we submitted an analysis of 450 cases of eclampsia treated at the Madras Maternity Hospital between the years 1908 and 1922, and then touched thereln on some factors which we thought weie of Primary importance in the treatment of the disease. Since the publication of this papei, we have had under our treatment a large numbei cases, wherein we had the advantage of not ?nly putting into practice the principles we lad enunciated, but also closely following each 0ne of these cases. It is not often that one Can publish an analysis of over 200 cases of eclampsia wherein one definite line of treatment was followed and the same persons
